- Thought I would get in with friends being that they had low GPA's and about 1 year of research compared to my 3 years of research and 3.63..."Our admissions this year were extremely competitive, with successful applicants having an average undergraduate GPA of 3.6, coursework completed in biochemistry, genetics, and cell/molecular biology, extensive research experience (despite COVID-19 disruptions over the past several years) with evidence of significant independent contributions to the lab, and very strongly supportive letters of reference, particularly from research mentors."
