Thank you for your application to the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University. This year, the Graduate School received over 10,000 applications for our Masters and Ph.D. programs. As you can understand, the selection process for admission to all of our programs is very competitive, and given the nature of graduate study, the number of students admitted to our programs must be severely limited. As a result, the Admissions Committee was forced to make many difficult choices among a pool of highly accomplished applicants.
