Received an email a few hours ago from the (general) graduate admissions team asking to check my application portal! No publications, no poster presentation experience. Truly excited to be accepted into a program that saw my potential as a future graduate student beyond my academic credentials. Goes to show that expression of genuine excitement for conducting research / enthusiasm for science is a key factor in the selection process!
