Got acceptance from the Professor who interviewed me. Earlier, he informed me that that the Department does not enroll international students into the PhD program. But one can get admitted to the program and later can get to the PhD program by passing the qualifying exam. Great option and the professor was really engaging in the meeting, but already rejected the offer because going to accept another offer.
