Note

I think I just received a rejection after being waitlisted. Just got an automated email, that just reads "We regret to inform you that due to the high number of qualified applicants, your application for PhD admission was not successful to the Economics: PHD program." Then asking me to respond if I did NOT want to be considered for my second choice. Nothing of the waitlist was mentioned.
