Note

Interview with a couple of days notice. For those interested, my subfield is 20th century, but I have an interest in cross-period work. Does anyone have any idea how many people (roughly) get interviewed? And what my chances are of getting an offer at this point? I've been told to expect an informal 15 minute chat about my interests, rather than a grilling, and that my application will still be fully considered if I decline the interview (although I suspect this is somewhat lip service).
