I was eagerly waiting to hear back from the IOE department, checking the emails multiple times every day and today, I logged into my Wolverine Account to see if there were any updates there and found the decision as mentioned below. I was wondering if this is how the admissions decisions are communicated? I am sorry to say that we will not be able to admit you to our graduate program. We had many more applicants than we have places available, and unfortunately have had to make difficult choices among a great many deserving candidates. We are gratified at the high quality of this year's group of applicants, but we could admit only a small number. We thank you for your interest in Michigan. Your dossier is impressive and we hope that you will be able to find a suitable program from among the institutions to which you have applied, and that you will continue to a degree and a career in the career of your choice.
