More than 2 years of undergrad research experience (my major is Materials Science from FUM, Iran), 1 publication in preparation during the application process and 1 poster presentation, 2 interdisciplinary internships attended, last two-year GPA was 3.95, TOEFL score was 116, no POI named on my SOP (focused on research interests). Received a generic rejection email to check my status on the portal. Good luck everyone!
