- I'm utterly devastated. Graduated Summa Cum Laude at a top 50 state school with a math degree and got a perfect GRE score. This was my dream school and it didn't happen. I thought I'd be an admit for sure, I thought I was a strong applicant compared to the applicant pool. I have no clue what system Columbia used for admissions this time around. Really hope it didn't come down to a lottery system Congrats to all the admits
