To the salty poster below from iit bhu who couldn't get into Carleton university. Bro, your profile wasn't good enough and that's why you good reject. I know a couple of students from private universities in India whose profiles were leagues ahead of you that got accepted. Canada doesn't have a concept of Tier-4 or Tier-5 universities, so focus on improving your profile first before you rant about a college again. Moreover, the playing field is leveled as far North-American universities are concerned for admissions to students from India who belong to IITs/Non-IITs. Those who got accepted to top colleges from IITs/Non-IITs had incredibly good profiles and they got in courtesy to their skills in computer science and not "extracurriculars".
