Received an email from my POI saying that a multi-year funding package is currently being processed for me, with the official letter/offer to be coming in a few days. If you're looking at this in a future cycle, just know that you need a POI in order to get into USC's Astronautical Engineering program, so contact faculty early and reach out to as many as possible! Also be open to exploring research opportunities that might not necessarily be in your exact intended area of research since the department has some pretty cool non-conventional research opportunities!
