- TPB: I cannot believe the amount of arrogant, ignorant, self-centered, condescending, privileged pricks I've seen in this forum... If you already have an amazing offer, it would be a natural move to decline other offers, it's not even for the people that are waitlisted, it's just a normal thing that normal people would do. If your offer is so dominating, your choice is so easy, why do you have to stall the whole process? Isn't it just psycho? If you don't have a strictly dominating offer, it's of course perfectly understandable for you to take your time, but please keep in mind that it is a problem that many fellow applicants wish to have. And frankly, no WLers are really pushing, WLers are practically begging. Is it really that hard to be a bit nicer? I thought the offer holders are supposed to be the future of economic research and about to become teachers, it would be great if being a nice person is also something that you guys care about besides research skills and knowledge.
