TTPB to the person asking for admissions at RICE ECE department. My interviewing professor contacted me that the department has decided to give me an offer for a Ph.D but the official letter has to be sent from RICE GPS office. That being said, officially I am still waitlisted. Has it ever happened for the GPS office to decline offers even though the department has decided to give an offer to a particular person?
