TTPB: I haven't heard of anyone getting rejected off the waitlist shortly after getting on the waitlist. So far the data spreadsheet says a few people have declined their offers; maybe UCR is waiting to send out acceptances until early April. Or they sent out more official acceptances than desired spots and the waitlist is really just a hail mary backup. I'm think the later is probably the case, and since this season was so competitive their spots might fill up quickly. Maybe only one person will get off the waitlist or perhaps no one will. But yeah if I don't get off this waitlist I'll be shut out and have to work retail again = life over
