Not an official waitlist notification: I emailed the POI and the answer was "We will still admit a few more applicants from those who have not yet been rejected, depending on which admitted applicants decline our offer. However, it will not be many. We have a highly competitive program and received 665 applications for about 25 positions.". Thus, I do believe it is a waitlist if for now you haven't heard back from them. For those who admitted to UM but got better offers please consider declining your offers as soon as possible. Do appreciate your kindness.
