Note

For context, Maryland usually makes 12 offers and hopes for a yield of 6, but this year they are only accepting 6 and waitlisting the rest of the top 12ish, hoping they can extend more offers on a rolling basis. Today I think the top 12ish all found out their status either way, and I was waitlisted. I invested a lot in this application and thought things were going really well so I'm pretty disappointed, but still holding out hope that some people turn down their offers.
