The info session was more like a brief introduction of CBE and MSE. Being invited does not mean admission. The Graduate Admissions Director said there were indeed more applicants this year compared to previous years. The PhD applicants could expect to hear the decisions no later than 4/1. If I remember correctly, it was mentioned that the recording of today's info session would be uploaded to one of Penn's youtube channels in a week. I hope this helps! Good luck!
