Note

I got an email from the Academic Advisor with a warm letter saying my application was highly regarded but basically...I got waitlisted. This makes sense because I didn't even write the supplemental essay asking about my cultural background - I thought, as a non-white Chinese female international student, nothing I say will add to my application, so that's that.
