Note

I hope people understand that 1) this was a highly competitive cycle and 2) just because you went to a prestigious school or have the highest this and that, that doesn't make you one of the best candidates for a certain program. There is so much that goes into a decision rather than you. There is a decreased budget in many programs this year, your intended mentor/advisor may not have the RA funds and/or may have too many students to handle, OR they did you a favor by not admitting you because they don't see how you would fit and/or who could best serve you no matter what you may have said in your statement. It happens yall.
