TTPB: I was the first poster who said I got an interview and I realize I made a mistake. Actually, the email was from the coordinator who CC'd the chair. I didn't realize the CC'd person was the chair (I assumed that was who I was interviewing with). So no, they did not tell me to communicate with whom I would like to speak to. Fwiw, I listed specific faculty in my statement and why we were a good fit. Maybe they are just getting those who I listed as POI?
