Accepted. Interviewed with a faculty in December, but the acceptance letter doesn't mention any faculty or funding information. Can I ask the accepted PhDs, do they mention any funding information in the offer letter? Or are we supposed to do TA in the first year while looking for advisor ourselves? Background: master's degree in ME from top US university, no publication, mostly doing robotics and control, planning to do that as well in PhD.
