Note

Saw some people were approved here, got in contact with POI. He said there were 100+ applications and there will only be 2 approvals. Finalists have already been decided apparently. Expected but still kinda sad. My stats: GPA 8.5/10 (undergraduate), 3/3 (masters); TOEFL 114; GRE 164 verbal, 5.5 writing; strong recs including one star-system prof. It is what it is.
