Just had an interview with professor who is not in my application list. He said he is a representative of the committee to interview me. Asked 8-9 very general questions, 20 mins in total. Will have another interview with PI I'm interested in tomorrow. Here are the questions: why do you peruse a PhD degree in CS? What is your plan in the program and what is your plan after graduation? Do you have relevant research experience and do you have any interactions with ang faculties in the program? What CS technic do you have? Which CS concepts are most interesting to you, and which courses are most interesting to you? Do you have any TA experience? What CS courses did you take and which is the most challenging to you? Which courses you would like to be a TA? Hope it helps
