The application was initially due January 5th and I submitted it on the 5th. The deadline was then extended to the 15th, so I didn't expect to hear anything until much later. Received an email on the 19th (only 4 days after the extended deadline) telling me I was invited, along with a few select applicants, to join the department in a virtual meet and greet with faculty and former students.
