A current UW CS PhD student here answering the question posted below about status. CS department doesn't work on Grad App login page so the status shown there means nothing in terms of application review. Most of the ~2500 apps have been reviewed in the first round and we are slowly starting our interviews as posted below. This will last up to last week of Jan, so don't freak out. All the best.
