Accepted after an interview that I thought was super awkward. I wasn't expecting to get in since I had a TERRIBLE GRE, and decent overall gpa. The committee was very impressed by my essays since I wrote about a specific active grad center's professor's publications. My personal statement was very taboo. I guess it worked? Only thing that sucks is masters students receive 0 aid, but they are negotiating with me. On the bright side NY residents receive tuition waivers to public universities after a year of establishing residency. For those afraid of applying just go for it! Good luck to everyone
