Note

Four field schools, 3 years of lab experience, summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, recommendations from top leaders in this field from my institution (similar in caliber to HEB in terms of research), two senior theses, research conferences, and working 60+ hour workweeks to pay for school. I did all of this despite dealing with a violent assault my sophomore year which has profoundly impacted my every day life. If this wasn't good enough and didn't speak to the quality of applicant I am, I don't know what would have been.
