UK student. Unofficial notification from the Faculty, awaiting approval by GAO. Unsurprisingly, no funding. I applied with a First in Philosophy from a good UK institution on the basis of my undergraduate strength in ancient philosophy (read mostly in translation), and geared my research proposal towards ancient philosophy and classical reception.
