Generic email saying the application pool was strong. Upset but not unexpected given my GPA. Low GPA but a ton of research experience. 2.5 years of post-bacc research. 3 second-author pubs, 1 first-author in revision, 2 second-author in revision - all mid-tier journals (impact factor 5-10).
