To the poster below: you should contact the department to ask, as no one on here who is a student could possibly know. I will say that I was shocked to get an offer of admission this early; I wasn’t expecting anything for another month. If you look at the history of UT PhD offers on here over the last 15 years, they usually come in late Feb or early March. I think this year might be the earliest first round of PhD admissions offers for this department in the history of this website’s records. Whether this means there will be additional rounds or not and/or whether all decisions have been made is unclear. If you’re an applicant to the MA program, it appears those decisions have not gone out yet. If you’re a PhD applicant and you didn’t get an email yet from Ms. Branton, maybe call or email them? No one here can tell you for sure.
