Dear Applicant, Thank you for your application to the Department of Chemistry. This year we have received over 350 applications from all around the world for a very limited number of places. The standard of applicants has been very high. All applications have been judged on their merit by a panel of academics and ranked accordingly. It is never possible to interview every applicant. I am afraid that your application was not ranked highly enough to be offered a place for 2020 entry, and it will shortly be rejected.
