Haha. Second reject. Strong statement of purpose. Good LoRs. Four semesters of undergrad research experience. Mentioned that I am currently working on a manuscript and a govt. (international) project started based on my preliminary work. GPA is not so great and no pubs. yet. And I am a mech. undergrad. I am basically waiting for the remaining rejects now.
