- To the poster below: yes, there are years in which no one gets in off the waitlist. Schools tend to over-extend offers, admitting 14-15 students when they only expect 9-11 to accept. In order to pull from the waitlist, a number of students (4-5) must reject. And even then, the school tends to fill the "gaps" in the cohort by representing underrepresented fields. Hope this helps.
