TTBP: Sure! I had an interview early Feb. M.S in planned field of research, 3 strong LoRs, 1 submitted paper as first author (but not at time of application). Informally I've heard they have a large number of astronomy students and the department has placed priority for other sub disciplines. Based on my inquiry, first round offers have been sent out, so I suspect astronomy acceptances (unless one or two were already made) will be sent out if their is a second round (which hopefully there is!), alas waitlisting limbo till then.
