To the poster below: I received quite possibly the most thoughtful, personal, and professional rejection letter from the Virginia Tech string theory/ hep-th group. This group is amazing — not just 1/2, but all members of the group responded multiple times last semester in regards to my interest in their work/the group, and this rejection letter confirms my opinion of them. This rejection hurt so much because of this. I freakin love them haha!
