- Dear IS committee, Congratulations! I am delighted to inform you that you have been the first program to reject my PhD application for the Fall 2018 term. As you know, rejecting such an excellent applicant as me is very competitive (one out of thousands), and I congratulate you. Unfortunately, I refuse your comment that Cornell is not able to be a part of the next phase of my career. Please understand that after becoming a excellent faculty in HCI I will still have many chances to work with you in the future.
