To the international student who asked for advice below: Actually I am in the same situation as you, I am also an international student who got accepted into the fast-track MS with no funding. They said if your grades are good in the first year then you will have a chance to get funding for the second year, and all PhD students (starting from third year) will get funded. Since I want to research in statistical genetics, this is the best place to go so I had no choice but to accept it. I know the costs are really tough, especially without tuition waived. But I think nothing much could really be done... If you cannot afford it then you should probably decline it. You can leave a contact in the comments if you are still undecided. All the best!
