Nice phone call--she was lovely. I was awkward as usual. Was wait-listed there several years ago, when I was twenty-two, and went on to live life when I did not get in. Though I wish, often, that I were further along in my writing career, I know the 'life experience'--I lived full time as a volunteer at a homeless shelter for three years--has informed my writing and my life. I, personally, was not ready straight from college--that, after two acceptances this round, is so so so clear. Good luck all and if you're straight out of college and do not receive acceptances, let yourself live and explore and see things and try again later.
