- Called UofA because I hadn't been notified of anything and many others had. I have been waitlisted (which i assumed!). Other useful info - "We accepted twice as many people as we want to show up in the fall. Thus roughly half the people we accepted would have to turn us down before we turn to the people on the waitlist. Since applicants typically apply to several schools, they often get several offers. So it is certainly possible that we would get to the waitlisted people, but we just don’t know at this point. "
