- I applied on Feb 1, 2017. Was notified on Feb 15, 2017. Notified of TA position and scholarship (covering half of the tuition) on Feb 17. You may be wondering how I managed to get into the school with such a low GPA. I did very poorly my first two years of college before declaring the environmental studies degree. From there my GPA average was a 3.6. YOU CAN GET INTO GRADUATE SCHOOL WITH SCHOLARSHIPS WITH A LOW GPA AND POOR QUANT SCORES!!!!!
