- I am waitlisted at Northwestern, and I have an offer from NYU (NYU is second-best). Please decline your offer from Northwestern if you are not going to attend, the system seems to be stuck. BTW, I thought whether cycles are possible: what if someone is waitlisted at NYU, has an offer from Northwestern and strictly prefers NYU other Northwestern? There is no way the current system will provide the optimum for the two of us.
