Unfortunately for me I know a few who got admits and that has led me to the belief that Stanford admission process is extremely random. Even the committee members are unsure of what they are looking for. Seems like they have lottery system at place and just randomly pick people. Not a case of sour grapes. Just a conclusion based on data. On second thoughts this could be a nice topic for a paper.
