- Duke Literature person below. I posted earlier about not hearing back. I contacted the director of the program and he sent me back a curt two sentence email telling me that I didn't get in. I didn't expect to get in, but it still seemed very unprofessional and rude. I would contact the department directly but no news seems to be bad news.
