AMO Exp. Strong letters from well known profs. 3 years of AMO exp at home (top 25) and 1 summer of BEC exp at a top 5. Was hoping strong research and letters would overcome low PGRE, guess they really only accept near perfect apps at Ivies. Was also rejected at Harvard where I did research... although I got into Cornell... it's just a crap-shoot. At least I have CU Boulder. Congrats to those who got in. :)
