I am Kathleen DeGennaro from the Princeton Econ Ph.D. program. I think there may some misinformation out there. Our admissions committee will not be meeting for their final decisions until the first week in March. Unless you receive an official email from me before that week no decision has been made regarding your application. I have received some phone calls checking on the status of applications but whether a file is in my office or not has no bearing on the decision. Applications are still under review.
