Applied for PhD, accepted for MS. Had very minimal economics experience. 2 years of energy experience, and a BS in energy engineering. No funding at this time, but was told TA positions will be decided during the summer. Took 3 months for them to tell me yes, they expect me to have an answer in 2 weeks. Coming from out of state, considering deferring for a year to get in-state status.
