Dreams do come true! After being emailed once per week for about three consecutive weeks by the DGS--during which time he also contacted my MA advisor--I've been admitted! Low undergrad GPA and more or less average GRE scores were made up for by my writing sample, fantastic LoRs, and solid SoP...this is a big victory for me! Also, American Politics subfield.
