- Another Response: I had been in contact with my POI throughout the process and they updated me… then grew silent the last couple weeks, which made me suspect I'd been cut. Was told I was an interesting candidate but that my goals did not "fit" the structure as well as other candidates, which is fair and I get. This happened to me at one other school too. It is all about FIT! Uffda. Contact your POI is my suggestion. :)
