- I received the news only after emailing the director of graduate studies. He was very nice about it, said that there were a precious few number of spaces at their disposal, and that it should not reflect on my personal academic achievements. I would have appreciated a notification without having to reach out, but I am glad to know. Congrats to those that were accepted!
