Note

I e-mailed the Director of Graduate Studies. He told me that I am their top wait listed Americanist, and that the department usually has 75 percent of its initial offers accepted (so some hope)... Oh and he said they offered 5 out of 127 doctoral apps. Hey being in the top 10 aint that half bad then, sigh.
